The excerpts included in Cochrane’s review were interesting enough to prompt me to order the book. The chapters covering ‘Entitlement programs’ creating powerful disincentive effects and ‘crony capitalism’ appear required reading for our own incumbent government. Cheers for the tip.
Cochrane’s efforts since the GFC have ranged from bizarre to just plain embarrassing.
i am glad I have finally found something to disagree with you.
I don’t know how either could apply to the current Government.
i think Cochrane’s fiscal theory of the price level papers have been good.
